Shivanna Kumar

Dr. Kumar is a general Psychiatrist with a wide range of experience in the field of psychiatry for the past 40 years. Dr. Kumar has worked in multiple settings including private practice, inpatient, and outpatient facilities. He was a staff psychiatrist at Compass from 1994 through 2001. During this time he also served as a staff psychiatrist at St. Catherine Hospital Behavioral Health Services. He then moved to Oklahoma and worked as a staff psychiatrist at Jack C. Montgomery Veteran Administration Medical Center providing clinical care to Veterans. Dr. Kumar has since returned to Compass where he meets with clients ages 18 and older. He has years of experience with several populations including, but not limited to, Veterans, Geriatric, and those with severe and persistent mental illness.
