G. Anthony Magagna

G. Anthony Magagna possesses extensive experience in risk management and claims administration, currently serving as Senior Director of Claims and Insurance Management at Compass Group Canada since September 2022. Previously, Magagna held the position of Director of Human Risk Services at Crawford & Company (Canada) Inc. from June 2014 to October 2022, focusing on managing employer’s risk, occupational health and safety, and absence management. Prior roles include Partner & Director at Picano & Partners Risk and Claims Services, Risk & Disability Manager at McLarens Canada, and Senior Disability Consultant at PDM Disability. Magagna began a career with the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board as a Claims Adjudicator. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy & Administration from York University, a Chartered Risk Manager designation from the University of Toronto Mississauga, a Chartered Insurance Professional designation from the Insurance Institute of Ontario, and certification as a Health & Safety Consultant from the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering.
