Lisa Spellmeyer

Lisa Spellmeyer is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in accounting and fund management. Currently serving as Controller at Compass Group Equity Partners since January 2024, Lisa previously held the position of Vice President & Fund Controller at Brightstar Capital Partners from August 2021 to January 2024, where involvement focused on enhancing value creation in mid-market private equity. Prior experience includes a tenure at RSM US LLP, progressing from Assurance Associate to Assurance Manager over three years, and roles in tax consulting at True Partners Consulting. Lisa obtained a Bachelor’s Degree with Honors in Accounting, along with minors in English and Spanish, from Loyola University Chicago, and has also studied at The University of Dallas and Cor Jesu Academy in St. Louis, Missouri.
