Jon Davies

Jon joined the Compass family in 2014 and became Managing Director of Levy UK & Ireland in 2018. His interest for all things food and catering, married with his love of sport and leisure mean this is the perfect role for him. Jon says the best part of his job is the variety of working with such prestigious venues throughout the UK and working with great people in the Levy team.

Jon is passionate about Levy having a positive social impact, working with our client partners, to minimise our environmental footprint and in creating a culture of openness, entrepreneurship and diversity.

Jon lives near the Peak District in Derbyshire with his wife Louise and daughters Mollie and Rose. Jon is also a trained chef and a pescatarian – whilst studying for a politics degree at York University, he worked evenings and weekends as a chef to pay off student debts. This ignited his love of food, which he has gone onto pursue throughout his career. An interesting fact about Jon… he keeps chickens at home and they lay blue eggs!
