Brian Smith is a culinary ambassador for UNESCO Tucson and currently serves as an Executive Chef at Compass Group since 2025. Previously, they owned and operated Maynards from 2021 to 2025 and held various roles at Maynards Market & Kitchen, including Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine from 2016 to 2025. Their culinary journey began at Acacia, where they worked from 2008 to 2016, progressing from Commis to Sous Chef and ultimately Chef de Cuisine. Brian holds an associate degree in Culinary Arts from Pima Community College, which they completed in 2009.
