Robert Canty

Executive Chef

Robert Canty has extensive experience in the culinary field, currently serving as an Executive Chef for Compass Group, where responsibilities include overseeing food services for Brightmore Estate's of South Charlotte and acting as the District Executive Chef II for DeSoto Independent School District, managing K12 food services for 13 schools. Prior to this, Robert held the position of Executive Sous Chef at Great Wolf Lodge, managing five restaurants within the resort. Experience also includes serving as a Concessions Sous Chef at Cowboys Stadium, where leadership of a team of 20 and management of 150-170 staff during events was required. Earlier roles included Catering Chef at Signature Services Corporation, overseeing various events, and Lead Line Chef at Sodexo, managing kitchen operations and a team of 17. Robert holds an Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts/Chef Training from the University of Maryland.
