Ismail Ebrahim Ismail

Ismail Ebrahim Ismail serves as the Managing Director and Finance Director (CFO) at Compass Insure since January 2011, overseeing the finance and IT functions and assisting with reinsurance placement. Prior roles at Compass Insure include Executive: Finance and IT and Head: Technical and Treaty Accounting, focusing on the technical accounting of insurance contracts and reviewing insurance reserving estimates. Prior to Compass Insure, Ismail was a Supervisor at KPMG from January 2008 to December 2010, where responsibilities included auditing key risk areas and supervising staff for clients such as Mutual & Federal Insurance Company and Export Credit Insurance Company Limited. Ismail holds an MBA from GIBS Business School (2014-2015) and an Accounting degree from the University of Johannesburg (2004-2007).
