Julia Flood has a diverse work experience in various positions. Julia started their career at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum as an Education Intern, where they developed lessons and activities for children. Julia then served as an intern for Project Gado, assisting in digitizing images from the Afro American Newspaper. Julia also worked as a Marketing Intern at Social Media Explorer, where they conducted research and supported client services. Julia later joined Compass Marketing Inc., starting as a Sales Administrator and eventually progressing to become a Digital Account Manager and a Digital Account Director. Currently, they hold the role of Managing Director of Digital & Creative, overseeing the digital and creative teams and working with leading brands to improve customer experience. Julia also had a role as a Project Manager at Powershelf, a project supported by Compass Marketing.
Julia Flood obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in History and History of Art from The Johns Hopkins University, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Julia also participated in a Study Abroad Program at Syracuse University in 2012, focusing on History and History of Art. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications from Syndigo in 2023, including Syndigo CES Partner Training - GDSN, Syndigo CES Partner Training - Syndigo - Verified Content, and Syndigo CES Partner Training - Syndigo Basics.
