Pharmacy Technician, Lead at Compass Oncology

Jen Gavin has extensive experience as a Pharmacy Technician. Jen started their career in 2000 at Certifax Pharmacy, where they worked as a Pharmacy Support Representative. In 2001, they joined Kaiser Permanente as an Intern and provided support in maintaining drug and supply inventory for patient floors. Jen later joined Adventist Medical Center - Portland, where they worked as a Pharmacy Technician, responsible for IV admixture of fluids, antibiotics, and chemotherapy for in-patient care. Since 2003, Jen has been employed at Compass Oncology as a lead Pharmacy Technician, where they are responsible for IV admixture of fluids, chemotherapy, and hematology medications for ambulatory care patients. Jen also manages drug and supply inventory and reconciles administration and dispensing records.

Jen Gavin attended Apollo College from 2000 to 2001 and obtained a Pharmacy Technician Diploma. Jen also holds additional certifications as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB), and certifications as a Pharmacy Technician in Oregon and Washington from the respective state boards of pharmacy.
