Tammy de la Melena- Hanel

Tammy De La Melena-Hanel has extensive work experience in the field of oncology. Tammy started their career in 2002 as a Clinical Associate Professor at Oregon Health and Science University. In 2010, they joined Compass Oncology as a Surgeon specializing in Breast Surgical Oncology. In the same year, they also became a member of the Medical Advisory Board for the Oregon Breast and Cervical Cancer Program at the Oregon Health Authority. In 2012, they joined Susan G. Komen as a member of the Medical Advisory Board for Oregon and SW Washington. In 2016, they became a member of the Surgical Executive Committee at The US Oncology Network. Most recently, they held the position of Vice President at Compass Oncology starting from May 2017.Overall, Tammy De La Melena-Hanel has held various leadership and advisory roles in the field of oncology, showcasing their expertise and commitment to improving breast cancer treatment and care.

Additionally, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the University of Portland.
