Mary Uran has a diverse range of work experience. Mary is currently the Managing Director, Twin Cities at Compass Pro Bono, and prior to that, they worked as a Consultant at Ad Lucem. Mary also served as the Board Chair for the Brave Like Gabe Foundation and as the Board Secretary for the National CMV Foundation. Mary has a background in public health, having worked as a Public Health Programs Manager at the Network for Public Health Law and as a NAGTRI Program Manager at the National Association of Attorneys General. Additionally, they worked as a Tobacco Project Paralegal at the National Association of Attorneys General. Mary is also the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Girls on the Run Minnesota, a role they held from 2010 to 2022.
Mary Uran completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Communication at Saint John's University and College of Saint Benedict from 2002 to 2006. Later, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a specialization in Nutrition from the University of Minnesota between 2010 and 2012.
