Richard Cushnan

Richard Cushnan currently serves as Managing Director UAE at Compass Project Consulting, a role commenced in January 2023. Previously, Richard held the position of Regional Director - Construction Management at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) EMEA from September 2019 to January 2023, wherein the role included serving as CBRE Head of Projects MENA - Principal Contracting. Richard's extensive experience in project management includes key leadership positions such as Senior Projects Director and Operations Manager at Shapoorji Pallonji International, Operations Manager at Havelock One Interiors, and Senior Project Manager at ISG. Richard also has experience as Project Manager at DEC LLC and Acorn Timber Services Ltd, and began a career in carpentry as a Senior Carpenter at Global Home Ltd and Carpenter at QC Joinery Ltd. Richard holds a BA Hons in Design Management from The University of Salford and an Associate of Arts in Design from The Manchester Metropolitan University, complemented by foundational education at Abbey Grammar School.
