Brian Sparks

Brian Sparks is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Interim Vice President of Student Support Services at Compass Rose Public Schools since June 2025. Prior roles include Superintendent and Deputy Superintendent at The Gathering Place, where Brian supported staff and community efforts to enhance student development. Brian also worked as the Director of Culture and Learning and Network Director at the School Innovation Collaborative and held several positions within San Antonio ISD, including Network Principal and Principal. Earlier experience includes roles as Assistant Principal, Instructional Coach, and Teacher at NORTH EAST ISD. Brian holds a Master's in School Administration and a Master's of Teaching from Trinity University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Humanities/Humanistic Studies.
