Joseph Ferretti

Joseph Ferretti has a diverse work experience in the field of unmanned aerial systems (UAS). Joseph began their career in 2010 with the US Army, where they served as a Sergeant and UAS Instructor Operator until 2017. After leaving the military, Joseph worked as a Principal Training and Development Specialist at General Dynamics Information Technology from 2015 to 2017. Joseph then joined Northrop Grumman as a UAV operator from 2017 to 2019. Following that, Joseph worked as an Unmanned Instructor Pilot III at General Atomics from 2019 to 2023. Currently, they hold the position of UAS Chief Test Pilot at Compass Systems Inc. starting from March 2023.

Joseph Ferretti began their education in 2011 at Cochise College, where they obtained an Associate's of Applied Science in Unmanned Aircraft Systems Flight Operator in 2018. In 2015, they enrolled at Rutgers University to study Computer Science, although it is not specified whether they completed a degree in this field. Currently, Joseph is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where they are expected to graduate in 2023.

Furthermore, Joseph has obtained additional certifications including the Army Basic Instructor Course from the United States Army Training and Doctrine Command in January 2016, and the UASTB Instructor Operator certification in June 2013.
