James Kranz

James Kranz is an experienced biopharmaceutical executive currently serving as Vice President and Head of CMC at Compass Therapeutics Inc., where responsibilities include overseeing the development and manufacturing of clinical-stage biopharmaceuticals. Previous roles include Vice President of Pharmaceutical and Analytical R&D at GreenLight Biosciences, Senior Director of Drug Product Development at Kiniksa Pharmaceuticals, and positions at GSK and Johnson & Johnson focusing on drug product development and small molecule drug discovery. James Kranz holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics from Washington University School of Medicine and completed postdoctoral studies at the University of Pennsylvania.
