Sara Trivett

Sara Trivett has extensive experience in category development and procurement, currently serving as SVP of Category Development for the Back of House at Foodbuy, a division of Compass Group USA, since October 2012. In this role, Sara leads initiatives focused on growth, supplier management, and contract management, while also overseeing member contract utilization support and supplier diversity. Previous positions at Foodbuy include VP of Category Development for the Protein and Grocery categories and various director-level roles. Prior to joining Compass Group, Sara worked at Total Wine & More, where significant achievements included a 400% increase in private label spirits sales and the introduction of over 50 new products. Sara began her career as an Assistant Buyer at The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. and holds a degree from Rutgers University.
