Catherine Simpson is a seasoned professional in the field of special education and behavior analysis, currently serving as Clinic Director and Connections Supervisor at Compass Behavioral Group since August 2022. Previously, Catherine worked as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for Albemarle County Public Schools and as a Licensed Behavior Analyst for Invo HealthCare - Progressus Therapy. Additional experience includes teaching students with disabilities at Williamson County Schools, conducting research at Vanderbilt Peabody College, and managing behavior interventions as a Case Manager at Vanderbilt Behavior Analysis Clinic. Catherine holds a Master’s degree in Special Education and Teaching from Vanderbilt Peabody College and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Washington and Lee University.
