Gary Hsin is a highly experienced medical professional currently serving as the Chief of Palliative Medicine and Medical Director of the Hospice & Palliative Care Center at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System since 2004. In addition, Gary Hsin holds various academic positions at Stanford University School of Medicine, including Clinical Professor and Faculty Fellow at the Center for Innovation in Global Health. As a certified teacher in Compassion Cultivation Training at the Compassion Institute, Gary Hsin contributes to the field of compassionate care. Gary Hsin has also served as the Palliative Care Regional Clinical Lead for the Veterans Health Administration and has completed fellowships and residencies at prestigious institutions, including Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. Gary Hsin's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies from Northwestern University.
