Jonathan R. Almonte

Jonathan R. Almonte currently serves as the Manager of Supporter Engagement at Compassion International, overseeing a team dedicated to various ministry functions since March 2014. Previously, Jonathan has held the roles of Program Support Specialist for Youth Development and Tours & Visits Specialist within the same organization. Before joining Compassion International, Jonathan was Vice-President at Casa Juvenil Tercer Cielo/ Fundación Damaso Marte, focusing on training children in poverty and community development. Additionally, Jonathan has experience as the Individual Visit Contract Planner at Compassion International and as the Director of King's Castle with the Assemblies of God. Educational qualifications include a Master of Divinity and a postgraduate degree in Christian Leadership from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, along with a degree in Applied Linguistics from Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo, among other diverse certificates in theology, public policy, and entrepreneurship.
