May Thomsen

May Thomsen, CFRE, serves as the National Director of Major, Corporate, and Foundation Relations at Compassion International since October 2016, leading a team of over 25 fundraising professionals to achieve an annual fundraising goal exceeding $50 million. Previous experience includes roles as Director of Development and Major Gifts Officer at Denver Rescue Mission from November 2007 to October 2016, where May focused on strategic fundraising initiatives and donor relationship management. May holds a Master's degree in Leadership from Denver Seminary (2013-2016) and has a background in corporate relations that emphasizes building effective partnerships to combat poverty.
