April Lacey

April Lacey, LICSW, PMH-C, currently serves as Clinical Team Lead and Therapist/Clinical Social Worker at Compassionate Counseling Company since September 2021. With a robust background in mental health, April worked at the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health as a Child, Youth, and Family Case Manager and Youth Mobile Crisis Clinician from November 2015 to September 2021. Previous experience includes roles as a Clinician at Child & Family Services, Inc., and Family Centered Clinician at The MENTOR Network. Early career positions include Staff Therapist/Clinical Mentor at South Bay Community Services, Recovery Support Specialist at North Suffolk Mental Health, and Crisis Clinician Intern at Bay Cove Human Services. April began the path in mental health as a Social Work Intern at David Ellis Elementary and holds a Master of Social Work in Clinical Mental Health from Boston College and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
