Sergey Sevbitov

Sergey Sevbitov is an accomplished executive in quantitative finance, currently serving as the Executive Vice President and Head of Model Validation at CompatibL since January 2018. Under Sergey’s leadership, the Singapore subsidiary was established and grew significantly, delivering over ten complex projects in model validation and quantitative consultancy to top-tier investment banks. Sergey built a high-performing team of quantitatively skilled professionals across multiple locations and achieved an impressive client retention rate of over 80%. Prior to this role, Sergey was a Lead Quantitative Analyst and Senior Developer at CompatibL, executing numerous projects, promoting in-house education, and contributing to enterprise-level risk platform development. Sergey has also consulted for the World Bank, implementing advanced valuation platforms and validating critical market data for exotic derivatives. Sergey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theoretical Physics and Computer Science from Belarusian State University.
