Dan Godfrey

Dan Godfrey is a seasoned compliance and finance professional with extensive experience in loan management and compliance functions. Currently serving as a Senior Compliance Officer at Compeer Financial since August 2017 and as Principal Compliance Officer at AgStar Financial Services since November 2012, Dan has a strong track record in coaching teams, managing distressed loan portfolios, and implementing strategies for loan restructuring and recovery. With prior experience as a Trust Officer at Wells Fargo, Dan developed advanced wealth planning techniques and provided guidance to clients and charitable organizations, further enhanced by a role as Lending Services Officer at Associated Bank where Dan focused on defaulted loans and legal negotiations. Dan holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from the University of Minnesota Law School and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
