Laura Scanlan

Laura Scanlan is a Senior Legal Advisor at the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission since September 2024. Previously, Laura held various roles at A&L Goodbody LLP from April 2017 to August 2024, including Associate and Corporate Insurance Solicitor, after completing a Trainee Solicitor program that spanned multiple legal areas including Intellectual Property, Litigation, and Insurance. Laura began the legal career as a Legal Professional at Allen & Overy from September 2014 to June 2016 and worked as a Teaching Assistant at CTY Ireland before interning at the Children's Rights Alliance. The educational background includes a Bachelor of Corporate Law from University College Dublin and completion of the FE1 program at the Law Society of Ireland.
