Jeff Ahrens

Jeff Ahrens, P.E. serves as the Vice President of Engineering and Construction at Competitive Power Ventures, Inc. since June 2014, focusing on Carbon Capture and Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) projects. Prior roles include Director of Engineering and Construction at Diamond Generating Corporation and Advanced Power NA, where contributions were made to the development of new Natural Gas Power Plants. Earlier experience encompasses project management of Combined Cycle Power Plants at Invenergy LLC and development and construction roles at PG&E NEGT/Cogentrix and Bechtel Power Corporation. Jeff Ahrens holds a Master's degree in Engineering Management from The George Washington University and Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University.
