Chris Purkey

Chris Purkey currently serves as the Vice President of the Allied Staffing Division at CompHealth, a position held since August 2023. Prior to this role, Chris worked at Backcountry for a decade, starting as the Director of Customer Support before advancing to Vice President of Customer Experience and Loyalty, eventually becoming Senior Vice President of Retail. Chris's earlier career includes significant positions at Guitar Center, where responsibilities ranged from Director of Online Sales to Director of Training and Development, demonstrating a robust background in customer service and retail operations. Chris is an alumnus of Salt Lake Community College.
