Tonya McDonald

TONYA MCDONALD, MD, FAAP is a highly experienced pediatrician and healthcare leader. Since January 2019, TONYA has served as the Founder and CEO of Radiance Pediatrics while also working as a locum tenens provider with CompHealth since July 2018. In addition, TONYA holds the position of Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Texas A&M University System Health Science Center - College of Medicine, where responsibilities include serving as a clinical preceptor for medical students. Previous roles include Lead Physician at Children's Health Pediatric Group from January 2013 to June 2018 and a pediatrician in the US Army from October 2005 to September 2012, where responsibilities included staff physician duties and medical directorship. TONYA earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Harvard Medical School after completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and History at William & Mary.
