Sharna Barnes

Sharna Barnes has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Sharna started their career as a Customer Service Manager at Verizon in 2006 and later worked as a Registration Manager at Health Service Authority from 2008 to 2011.

Following this, Sharna joined the City of West Palm Beach, FL as a Contract Specialist in the IT department, where they managed contracts and negotiations until 2016.

In 2015, they joined Complete Contract Consulting as a Senior Proposal Development Manager, with responsibilities such as managing contract sourcing, coordinating business assistance, and conducting government training courses. Sharna later became the Chief Executive Officer of the company in February 2018.

Sharna also worked at The Mosaic Group as a Sales, Proposal, and Marketing Manager from 2016 to 2018. In this role, they spearheaded marketing and community outreach efforts, developed marketing strategies, and managed a team of seven individuals.

Sharna Barnes obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Portsmouth, where they also obtained a Professional Human Resources certification in 2011. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications including HubZone Certified Firm from the U.S. Small Business Administration in 2020, Disadvantage Business Enterprise from the Florida Department of Transportation in 2019, Small, Minority, Woman Owned Business Enterprise from Palm Beach County in 2019, and Women & Minority Business Certification from the State of Florida in 2018. Sharna also holds a Project Management Professional Certification from the City of West Palm Beach in 2014 and a Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) certification from the American Purchasing Society.
