Carol Smith has a diverse and extensive work experience. Carol most recently worked as the Director of Channel Sales at Complete Solar since 2019. Prior to that, they spent a significant amount of time at SolarWorld, where they held multiple roles, including Customer Relationship Management/Contract Management/Business Development and Business Development Manager. At SolarWorld, they negotiated supply agreements with strategic accounts, managed client relationships and contract execution, and identified revenue opportunities.
Before their time at SolarWorld, Carol worked at Hewlett Packard for several years. Their roles at Hewlett Packard included Senior SLED Implementation Escalation Manager and ACO Systems Manager. Carol provided operational support, managed sales and customer escalations, and provided functional leadership for state, local, and education contract requirements.
Carol also worked at Pyramid Technology as a Senior GSA Sales Program Manager, where they managed GSA Federal Supply Schedule Contracts, and at Amdahl Corporation as a Contracts Administrator.
From 1993 to 1996, Carol Smith pursued their Masters in Government Procurement and Business Administration at The George Washington University.
