Catherine R.

Catherine R.'s work experience includes multiple roles in different organizations. In 2022, they worked at Big Brothers Big Sisters of America as a Middle & High School Program Specialist/IDPH Coordinator. Catherine also worked as a Photographer for the Media Team at Complete Weddings + Events. In 2021, Catherine served as a Guest Service Team Lead at Pilot Flying J. From 2019 to 2022, they were the Social Media and Outreach Coordinator for the St. Ambrose University Graduate Student Government Association. Prior to that, Catherine worked at the Child Abuse Council as an Administrative Coordinator from 2019 to 2020 and as a Doula Home Visitor from 2016 to 2019. In 2015, they were a Summer Fellow at NextGen Climate, and in 2014, they were a Campus Officer at the same organization.

Catherine R. received their Master's degree in Public Health from St. Ambrose University, where they studied from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they attended St. Ambrose University from 2012 to 2015 and earned a degree in Women and Gender Studies, Psychology, and Biology, with a focus on Women's Studies. In 2022, they attended Capri College and obtained a degree in Nail Technology. Alongside their education, Catherine also holds additional certifications, including (CD)DONA Certified Doula from DONA International, Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) from the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice, and the Child Passenger Safety Technician certification from Safe Kids Worldwide. Catherine also holds a certification as a Certified Nurses Aid from Scott Community College.
