Shayla Kelly has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Shayla began their career as a Proctor & Gamble's ReadyU Campus Ambassador at MRY in 2010. Following that, they worked as a Visual Assistant Manager at Abercrombie & Fitch from 2007 to 2012. From 2012 to 2016, they served as a Marketing Coordinator at DRM, Inc d/b/a Arby's, where they executed direct marketing, design, research, and project management tasks.

In 2016, Shayla joined Big Omaha, Silicon Prairie Awards, and Heartland Developers Conference as an Events Marketing Manager. In this role, they produced and managed marketing efforts for various conferences and events, focusing on attendee experience and engagement. Shayla also played a key role in building community and awareness for the Omaha startup community.

In 2017, Shayla worked as an Events and Communications Manager at Pipeline Entrepreneurial Fellowship, where they managed programming, communications, and ongoing education for high-growth entrepreneurs.

Since 2018, Shayla has been with Complete Weddings + Events. Shayla started as a Marketing Manager, responsible for overseeing and executing all marketing projects, generating leads, and improving ROI. In 2022, they were promoted to Client Experience Manager, and later in 2023, they took on the role of Sales & Marketing Director.

Throughout their career, Shayla has demonstrated proficiency in marketing tools and software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Keynote, CRM systems, SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console. Shayla has also gained experience in managing teams, building efficient workflow processes, and creating marketing strategies for both local and national mediums.

Shayla Kelly attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2007 to 2011. Shayla obtained a Bachelor of Journalism degree with a major in Advertising and minors in Communications. Additionally, they concentrated their studies in Marketing and History.
