Matthew Williams

Matthew Williams has extensive experience in the turf management industry, currently serving as the National Account Manager for Turf at COMPO EXPERT GmbH since April 2020. Prior roles include UK Sports Turf Manager and Area Manager at Spunhill Ltd from August 2018 to April 2020, as well as various positions at Barenbrug UK from May 2008 to August 2019, including UK Key Account Manager and New Product Development Manager. Matthew's background also includes serving as Deputy Course Manager at Wrexham Golf Club and Course Manager at Darland Golf Course, with an initial internship as a Greenkeeper at Turnberry Hotel and Golf Course. Matthew's educational qualifications include a Bridging Programme focused on Environmental Plant Physiology from the University of Central Lancashire and studies at Reaseheath College.
