Anja Jamrozik, Ph.D.

Anja Jamrozik, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Anja is currently working as the Head of Product at Composer, a position they have held since December 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Researcher and Strategist at the same company from September 2020 to December 2021.

Before joining Composer, Anja worked as a Behavioral Science / Research Consultant at Delos™ from March 2020 to January 2021. Anja also held the position of Director of Research at Breather from May 2019 to December 2019, and worked as a Research Consultant at the same company from October 2018 to April 2019.

Anja's experience also includes a role as a Digital Associate Editor at the Psychonomic Society from October 2016 to March 2019. Anja further worked as a Behavioral Science / Research Consultant at Delos™ from August 2018 to January 2019, and as a Behavioral Scientist / Research Consultant at Well Living from October 2015 to January 2019.

Prior to their industry roles, Anja served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania's Center for Cognitive Neuroscience from October 2014 to October 2016. Anja obtained their Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from Northwestern University, where they designed and conducted research projects focusing on higher-order cognition, such as reasoning, problem-solving, language use, spatial cognition, and metaphor. During their time at Northwestern University from September 2008 to October 2014, Anja also analyzed both quantitative and qualitative data.

Anja's early research experience can be traced back to their role as an Undergraduate Researcher at McGill University's Faculty of Science from January 2006 to December 2007.

Anja Jamrozik, Ph.D. earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Cognitive Science from McGill University between 2004 and 2007. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology at Northwestern University from 2008 to 2014.
