Mahazir Ahmad is currently the Head of Human Capital & Administration at CTRM. Prior to this, they were with Honda Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. for 4 years, where they were the Vice President of Human Capital and Administration. In this role, they were responsible for the full spectrum of Human Capital, Safety, Security and Administration activities with a total headcount of 3700 employees. Some of their key achievements include leading and successfully re-engineering the Talent and Retention Management programs for Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd, as well as leading the organization to win the prestigious Human Resources Development Award 2017 - Large Manufacturing Sector. Mahazir has also been a finalist for several other awards, including the Human Resources Minister Award 2017 and the Human Resources Development Award 2017.
After completing a degree in management with a focus in finance and accounting from USM, Mahazir Ahmad pursued a HR certificate from DELL Asia Pacific. Mahazir then went on to earn an OSH certificate from NIOSH before completing a Master of Human Resources Management from Open University Malaysia. Finally, they received certification from DELL Asia Pacific in human resources.
