Sue Halliwell

Sue Halliwell is an experienced professional in the composites industry, currently serving as Operations Manager and Secretary for Composites UK since May 2010, with a background as a Board Director since May 2009 and prior advisory experience. Additionally, Sue holds the position of Show Co-Director for the International Composites Summit from June 2020 to November 2024. Previously, Sue was a Knowledge Transfer Manager at NetComposites Ltd and a Principal Consultant at BRE, where research focused on the durability of plastics in construction. Sue Halliwell earned a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Reading, an MSc in Polymer Technology from Loughborough University, and a PhD in Polymer Durability from Loughborough University, demonstrating a strong academic foundation in the field.
