Konstantin Azarov

Konstantin Azarov is the CTO at Compound Eye. Prior to that, they were a software engineer at Asana, where they worked on backend and framework work, including AWS, databases in production settings, monitoring, and more. Konstantin also implemented pieces of a new reactive backend framework and debugged production problems. Before Asana, Konstantin was a site reliability engineer at Google, where they were oncall, worked on monitoring tools, and supported the rollout of Google Instant (now gone) among other things. Konstantin got their start as a software engineer at Eagle Dynamics, where they worked on simulation code for various weaponry as a part of the flight simulator. Konstantin also taught the AI to use the new weapons and reimplemented save & replay functionality.

Konstantin Azarov has a degree in nuclear engineering from the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute). Konstantin also has a background in mathematics and physics.
