Benjamin Copan has five years of work experience. Benjamin is currently an Associate Software Engineer at Compoze Labs and a Full Stack Developer (student) at Prime Digital Academy. From 2015 to 2021, they were a Software Engineer at Measurement Technology Laboratories, LLC, where they led a high-speed continuous delivery application development team coding in LabVIEW connected to a SQL database, developed software used by engine manufacturers and environmental agencies worldwide to measure particulate air pollution, organized data, and generated reports. Benjamin also designed, coded, and iterated tests of a new weighing system, trained clients to use software and hardware, trained and mentored new engineers, supported clients around the globe, restructured databases, created localization packages, and wrote device drivers in LabVIEW. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Laboratory Teaching Assistant, Mathematics Tutor, and Undergraduate Researcher at Bethel University. Benjamin supervised 4 different labs, provided conceptual explanations, aided in resolving technological issues, and mentored students in choosing and completing physics projects. Lastly, from 2010 to 2013, they were a Research Assistant at Hanley Center.
Benjamin Copan is currently enrolled in Prime Digital Academy, studying Full Stack Software Development. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Applied Physics from Bethel University between 2011 and 2015. In 2020, they obtained two certifications, an Accelerated Computer Science Fundamentals Specialization from Coursera in April and a Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in January.
