Derek Chang is an overseas-trained medical doctor with over 14 years of experience in clinical and leadership roles within mental health and addictions. They have served as a Care Manager for Te Roopu Taurima and a Clinical Operations Manager for The Salvation Army, among other positions. Currently, Derek is the Portfolio Manager for Mental Health and Addictions at Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand and the Director of Asian Health Services at Comprehensive Care.
