Matt Powers

Matt Powers has a diverse range of work experience in the field of consulting and business analysis. Matt started their career in 2003 at Health Net, where they assisted in consolidating the company's lines of business and tested new programming. Matt then worked as a Configuration Analyst at Oxford Health Plans, where they focused on routing and tracking provider contracts and trouble-shooting configuration conflicts for efficient claims processing. Matt also held the role of Claims Manager at Amalgamated Life Insurance, where they tested software upgrades, trained staff, and improved understanding of the claims system.

Matt then transitioned to consulting roles, starting with Perot Systems as an Implementation Consultant, before joining Keystone Mercy Health Plan as a Facets Configuration Analyst. Matt then moved on to Catalyst Search as a Consultant, and later at Intelli-Source as a Product Consultant, where they tested and validated software solutions for clients.

Matt's most recent experience includes their role as a Consulting Business Analyst at Catalyst Solutions, Inc, where they led a provider database restructure project, consulted on best practices for testing legacy system conversion, and managed the implementation of a new HMO market. Matt also worked as a Senior Business Analyst at CSC and is currently employed as a Consulting Business Analyst at Compri Consulting.

Matt Powers pursued their undergraduate education from 1997 to 2001 at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology.
