Steven Daughtry

Steven Daughtry has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and companies. Steven is currently working as a Senior Business Analyst/Project Manager at Compri Consulting, where they are consulting at Xcel Energy and assisting in the development and delivery of business processes and technologies related to Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). Steven is also involved in federal grant application initiatives and transitioning the technical delivery methodology to agile methodologies.

Before joining Compri Consulting, Steven worked at Lithia Motors, Inc. as a Principal Business Analyst, where they coordinated business analysis and change management efforts for implementing enterprise applications and led discovery efforts for new project opportunities.

Steven also worked as a Technical Business Analyst at Samay Consulting, where they coordinated business analysis and change management efforts for the implementation of custom applications at Lithia Motors, Inc.

Prior to that, Steven was a Senior Business Analyst at Whiting Petroleum Corporation, where they built out the business analysis discipline and practices in the IT organization. Steven provided business analysis, IT project leadership, and client relationship management services, and led software implementation, data quality initiatives, and business process re-engineering projects. Steven also served as the Business Applications Manager, directing a team in operational support and strategic projects.

Steven's earlier experience includes working as an IT Business Analyst at Encana Corporation, where they drove business analysis efforts for initiatives in drilling, completion, facility, and construction departments. Steven also served as an Operations Technician, performing well planning, design, regulatory, and operations activities through the administration of core business systems.

Throughout their career, Steven has demonstrated expertise in business analysis, project management, change management, software implementation, data integration, and process improvement.

Steven Daughtry has a diverse education history. From 2001 to 2003, they attended The University of Texas at Austin and obtained a Master of Arts (MA) in French Linguistics. In 2009, they enrolled at Colorado Technical University and completed a Master of Science (MS) in Information Technology Project Management, which took him until 2011. Earlier, from 1996 to 2000, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Foreign Languages and Literatures, with a major in General Studies, at The University of Southern Mississippi. Additionally, in 1999, they participated in a Semester Abroad program at ESCE International Business School to study International Business. Later on, in 2010 and 2011, Steven attended The George Washington University, where they earned an Associate Certificate in Business Analysis.

In addition to their formal education, Steven has acquired several certifications. In 2016, they obtained the IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from PeopleCert. In 2018, they completed the Creating Your IT Strategy course from LinkedIn. Steven also holds certifications in Python data structures and programming, which they obtained from Coursera in 2020. More recently, in 2021, Steven obtained the Learning Jira Software certification from LinkedIn.
