David Bichara

David Bichara has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their role as a Machine Learning Research Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In this position, they developed a machine learning model to detect confusion in audio and implemented gender stratification techniques to increase its precision. David also utilized feature extraction and data segmentation to enhance the model's dimensionality.

Following this, David co-founded CompSciLib and served as the Chief Technology Officer. David constructed an Ed-Tech platform for computer science learners and developed numerous API endpoints and front-end components using various technologies.

David then gained experience as a Software Engineer Intern at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where they worked on internal tools for processing consumer data. David created additional APIs, developed a contract testing framework, and built a new microservice for logging.

Prior to these roles, David worked as a Resident Assistant at the University of Delaware, where they fostered an inclusive and safe community for first-year residents. David also founded and served as the President of the Blue Hen Ethics and Philosophy Club, ensuring students had a space to discuss philosophical issues. Additionally, they conducted research as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Mechanical Neuroimaging Lab, exploring topics such as retrospective motion correction in Magnetic Resonance Elastography (MRE) and the impact of brain trauma caused by repeated head impacts.

David's experience also includes an internship at OneTrust as a Java Developer. During this time, they contributed to the development of features, bug fixes, and tasks for the company's web application microservices.
