Steven Becker

Steven Becker is a cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in information and cyber security management. Currently serving as Manager of Risk and Assurance at Open Society Foundations since October 2019, Steven focuses on initiatives that enable secure operations for colleagues within the organization. Prior roles include Associate Director of IT Security at CompTIA, where Steven provided expertise for certification exam development, and Information Security Manager at Berkeley College, where oversight on information security best practices was emphasized. Additional experience includes positions at BCB Community Bank as AVP of IT Security, Perimeterwatch Technologies in various technical roles, and an internship that evolved into a Systems Support Administrator at Distribution by Air. Steven holds a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University and an Associate's Degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix.
