John Gibbs

John Gibbs is a seasoned IT executive currently serving as the Group Chief Information Officer at Computacenter since July 2023, and a Council Member at the Royal College of Art since November 2022. Previously, John held the role of Group CIO at International Airlines Group from September 2019 to June 2023 and at Rolls-Royce from January 2006 to August 2019, where responsibilities included overseeing global IT operations, infrastructure, and strategic initiatives that garnered industry recognition. John began their career as a Principal Solutions Architect at Royal Mail and later served as an Account Executive at CSC. John holds a BSc Hons in Information Systems from Staffordshire University.
