Kirsten Tashev

VP & Chief Curatorial & Exhibitions Officer at Computer History Museum

Kirsten Tashev leads CHM’s collections, curatorial, exhibits, and media team. Tashev has led the development of all of CHM’s virtual and physical exhibitions and has played a key role in the Museum’s strategic development since 2000. Tashev is an experienced museum professional who has helped shape dozens of museums across the country for over 25 years. She has worked both for museums in key leadership roles and as an exhibit design and museum planning consultant. Her work explores the unique role of museums in society and how they can help audiences explore their connection to contemporary history. A museologist with a background in history, Kirsten’s career has focused on audience advocacy and engagement, design, and building multidisciplinary teams.
