Pratibha Thakur

Pratibha Thakur is a Computer Science and Computational Cognitive Science student at the University of Toronto, expected to graduate in June 2026. Currently serving as Vice President of the Computer Science Student Union and Director of Events for the University of Toronto Women in Computer Science (WiCS), Pratibha has held various leadership roles within the Student Union, including Acting President and Director of External Relations. Practical experience includes positions as a Machine Learning Engineer and Software Developer at RBC, where Pratibha contributed to Wealth Management and participated in RBC Amplify, as well as software development in a cognitive neuroscience lab at the University of Toronto. Pratibha was also selected as one of 85 invitees for Citadel's Women's Datathon and completed a research traineeship focused on website development at the Women & Gender Studies Institute. Educational achievements include participation in a Mathematical Olympiad Training Camp at NTNU and earning an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Oslo International School.
