Vechhany Hou

Vechhany Hou serves as the Philanthropy and Grants Coordinator at the Computer Science Teachers Association, managing financial transactions related to grant projects since October 2022. Prior to this role, Vechhany worked as a Grants Writer at FIRM, focusing on securing funding through research and proposal submissions, and built relationships with funders from June 2020 to October 2022. Vechhany also completed a grant writing internship at Las Vegas Children's Non Profit, successfully securing funding for a startup nonprofit within a month. Earlier experience includes working as a Writing Center Tutor at Clovis Community College, fostering critical thinking and writing skills among students, and serving as a journalist and editor for the Asian Pacific Review at California State University, Fresno. Vechhany holds a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Fresno.
