Bill Berger

Bill Berger has extensive work experience in various roles related to software engineering, web design, and graphic design. Bill is currently the Director of Software Engineering at CSI since October 2021. Prior to this role, they were a Software Engineering Manager at CSI from February 2020 to October 2021. Before that, they served as the Senior Developer Team Lead at CSI from July 2004 to February 2020.

Before joining CSI, Bill worked as a Senior Web Designer/Developer at Eastridge Technology from November 2000 to July 2004. Bill also had experience as a Support Technician at Adobe Systems, Inc from January 1999 to January 2000. Additionally, Bill worked as a Graphic Designer at Mac's Graphics from January 1996 to January 1999, where they provided freelance website and packaging design services for Fortune 1000 companies. Bill'sdesigns were credited with a 20% increase in sales for their clients.

Throughout their career, Bill has gained expertise in various technologies and tools, including ReactJS, AngularJS, NodeJS, JavaScript, ASP.Net, C#, REST API, Azure, Couchbase, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, PHP, WPF, ColdFusion, AJAX, CSS, SaSS, HTML5, SQL Server, MySQL, XML, XSLT, User Experience (UX), Microsoft Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, Git, TFS, Adobe Flash, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Omnigraffle, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).

Bill has also demonstrated their leadership skills by leading teams of developers through the Agile/Scrum process and iterations, as well as working with Product Management and QA teams to prioritize backlog items.

Bill Berger attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 1995 to 1998, where they studied Computer Science. Prior to that, from 1993 to 1995, they attended Central Piedmont Community College and pursued a degree in Advertising and Graphic Design. Before their time at Central Piedmont, they studied Psychology at Catawba College from 1988 to 1993. Additionally, Bill Berger has obtained certifications including Adobe ACE, Certified Web Developer from Macromedia, and MCP from Microsoft.
