Zaid Akhter

Zaid Akhter has a diverse and extensive work experience. Zaid started their career at Cable & Wireless where they held various roles such as Sales Executive, Snr Pre-Sales Consultant, Sales Support Consultant, and Network Design & Project Engineer. During this time, they successfully delivered large network integration projects and developed relationships with key suppliers. Later, Zaid worked as an Independent Consultant at Instalec Networking for a short period. Zaid then joined CSI, where they held multiple positions including Business Development Director - HEIT, Business Development Director, and Vice President Sales. In these roles, they worked closely with community financial institutions, identifying fintech solutions and providing technology expertise to enhance performance, security, and efficiency. Zaid's work experience demonstrates their strong sales and business development skills, as well as their expertise in the technology and financial services industries.

Zaid Akhter has a diverse education history. Zaid completed a Masters Level Extension Program in Banking at Pacific Coast Banking School from 2014 to 2016. Prior to this, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Strathclyde from 1994 to 1997. Zaid also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng.) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Glasgow, which they obtained from 1987 to 1991. In addition to their academic achievements, Zaid has pursued executive leadership education at the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business in 2015-2016. Zaid also holds certifications in CPR & AED from the American Heart Association, and Cisco Certified Design Professional and Cisco Certified Networking Professional from Cisco.
