Chris Long is a partner and senior vice president with Intelligent Technical Solutions (ITS), where they serve as a vCIO and are based in Phoenix. They have more than 45 years of IT experience, having witnessed the industry’s evolution from early mainframe work to cloud computing. Earlier in their career, they served as Data Center Manager and Sr S.A. D&E at Charles Schwab & Co. from 1992 to 2004, preceded by roles at Xerox as Tape Librarian and System Operator (1983–1985). Starting in 2004, they owned and led a top-tier MSP as part of a global franchise for 18 years and also founded Computer Troubleshooters, North Phoenix, where they have served as CEO / Founder since 2004. Additional early experience includes Wells Fargo (Shift Manager, 1991–1992) and Great American Savings and Loan (Lead Operator/Shift Manager/Print Manager/Tape Manager, 1985–1991).
