Joel Kamba

Joel Baguma Kamba is a seasoned professional in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) with extensive experience in educational and developmental initiatives. As the Managing Director of Computers for Schools Uganda since April 2014, Joel has focused on designing programs for the sustainable use of ICT in education, managing e-waste, and engaging youth in these initiatives. Previously, as Operations Manager at Computers for Schools Uganda from April 2008 to December 2013, Joel coordinated ICT for education programs across Uganda, designed capacity-building projects, and facilitated the installation of computers in schools. Earlier experience includes a volunteer position at the National Curriculum Development Centre, where Joel contributed to the CurriculumNet project and managed the refurbishment and distribution of computers to schools. Joel holds a Bachelor's degree in ICT and a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science, both from Kyambogo University.
